It’s a special privilege to announce the release of Visual Outline Charts of the New Testament by astute theologian (and personal friend) Scott Bashoor of Buena Park Bible Church. This book is a remarkable tool and proudly endorsed by John MacArthur, President of The Master’s Seminary.
VOCNT is a collection of 70 full color, full-page charts displaying the structure and content of each New Testament book. It is digitally published by B&H Academic (a division of Broadman & Holman) and is available through their Bible study platform, WORDsearch.
While there are many books of Bible charts on the market, there’s nothing quite like VOCNT. It incorporates a unique visual display. Instead of using a Roman numeral outline system which can be difficult to follow and visualize, VOCNT uses shades of color to guide the eye through the main sections of each book and down into the details of each subsection. Major divisions are outlined from left to right in dark shaded upper rows, and details are suspended in lighter shaded columns below each major division.
While VOCNT has an academic publisher, it’s not just for pastors, scholars and students. It’s intended for anyone interested in understanding the flow of NT books! Pastors will find it useful in their study for planning out their series. Teachers can use the charts with a projector in class while teaching through books. Students can use it in class or for assigned readings, and the diligent laymen will be rewarded when using this tool in their own study.
VOCNT has been endorsed by faculty from The Master’s Seminary, Talbot School of Theology, Moody Bible Institute, Dallas Theological Seminary, and other institutions. Here are some of their comments.
